FUCK I said something really smart and the internet ate it. Basically, there’s something really off about this for me, it smacks of that ‘I don’t care if you’re black, white, purple, WHATEVER!” line of thinking. Saltmarshhag always says a smart thing along the lines of ‘wanting to sleep with (usually trans women) isn’t the final step to acceptance’. I can’t say it as well, but that’s what I get from this graphic. Seems heaps dismissive and dull.
I hate how most depictions of naked trans women is with erect junk.
Cody had to explain to me what ‘DTF’ stands for, so in addition to all the great critical response already posted to this, I’m gonna throw in my discomfort with the implication a trans* body (or any body) only has value in relation to sex. :/
Like anti-racism or anti-sexism, anti-cissexism isn’t sexually transmitted.
Replace “DTF” with “willing to let me fetishise you”.
